The view from the Idea Center

There are snowstorms in the Northeast and snowstorms in the West, but here in Cleveland, it鈥檚 just gray skies and a wintry mix of rain and snow today.

My oldest brother was making a snowman with his kids over the Thanksgiving holiday in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Around here, the sunshine and mild temperatures had two of my other brothers talking about playing a round of golf.

I know I鈥檓 supposed to root against snow, but I welcome it at this time of year. When it sticks, it makes the landscape pretty, and it puts me in a holiday mood.

罢丑别谤别鈥檚 , but there鈥檚 another way to get into the spirit of the season: music.

Take a break from your workday at 12 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 4, and join us at the Idea Center for a free performance of carols and other songs by the Baldwin Wallace University Men鈥檚 Chorus. It鈥檚 a tradition WCLV Classical 104.9 started in 2013.

Maybe 鈥淟et It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!鈥� will be in the chorus鈥� lineup. Mother Nature鈥檚 operations in Northeast Ohio could use the hint.
